Founder of Crossroads International Consultants
Crossroads International Consultants, LLC was founded in 2023 in response to the impact the COVID-19 Pandemic had on productivity across industries around the world. The founder, Michelle Odanga observed the increasing demand for Project Management talent as businesses attempted to coordinate disparate, remote teams to reach their goals in an uncertain economic ecosystem with existing strategic planning processes . Her background as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) helped build the communication, business analysis, and change management skills required as well as understand the macroeconomic events that can affect their completion. From delivering large integrated systems with distributed multi-functional teams, to small agile organizations delivering new product features, all projects have the same general goal: Deliver a new experience to the client, within scope, on schedule, and under budget.
Her ability to pull from her various experiences speaks to her credibility in the field. She:
- Stabilizes operational and IT delivery when execution becomes reactive.
- Installs governance, visibility, ownership, and execution rhythm.
- Focuses on what is measurable: on-time delivery, turnaround time, fewer escalations.
The name “Crossroads” is derived from the English translation of an ancestral name from her Zimbabwean heritage. It reveals the owner’s dedication to family and the pursuit of generational wealth both in name and purpose. Her natural instinct to seek new experiences in the world prompts her to constantly meet at the crossroads of exploring and engaging. She encourages other talented entrepreneurs to monetize their unique skills to create economic opportunities for themselves.
